First Star Wars, then Green Lantern. What’s next…Metallica?*

I’ve noticed that when franchises end up going sour and disgust me enough to turn away from them completely, like the aforementioned properties, I often come back to them after a few years. It’s very strange. Often, my coming back takes place almost at the drop of a hat; I could be in full-on hate mode one day, then start getting back into a property with a vengeance the next. It makes no logical sense, but then again, neither does most of my life. Cripes, am I really that bipolar when it comes to shit I’m interested in?

* – Alright, maybe not Metallica. I’ve been sick of them for well over a decade now, so I think the statute of limitations has passed.
